St. George Orthodox Church, Chengaroor

The St. George Orthodox Church, Chengaroor often called as Chengaroor Pally(ചെങ്ങരൂര്‍ പള്ളി) is the first church consecrated by St. Gregorios of Parumala (Parumala Thirumeni) because of this people calling this church as first daughter of Mar Gregorios.. The Church’s social, charity and religious activities make the church famous. This gracefulness stage has been keeping by the way of commitment, believe and social responsibility. At present 700+ families are registered under this church and functioning 14 prayer groups, 7 Sunday Schools, 4 youth leagues etc. Late His Grace Dr Zacharia Mar Theophilos, 14 priests and one nun are the fragrant of our church.
